Panorama Software Demonstrates Ongoing Commitment To Provide End-To-End Business Intelligence Solutions For The Microsoft Platform

Company Enhances Reporting and Dashboard Products

ORLANDO, FL - September 28, 2004 – Panorama Software, a leader in business intelligence (BI) solutions for the Microsoft platform, today announced at the 2004 PASS (Professional Association for SQL Server) Community Summit, key feature enhancements to its reporting and dashboard solutions. By augmenting these flagship products, Panorama is enabling customers to utilize its end-to-end BI applications and solutions to significantly improve businesses performance. These enhanced solutions will be generally available at the end of October 2004.

The first significant enhancement to Panorama's portfolio of products is the introduction of Panorama Enterprise Reporter. This advanced reporting solution integrates the Company's ad-hoc query capabilities and the ability to integrate reporting and analysis with complete report authoring. With Panorama Enterprise Reporter, end users have the ability to create enterprise reports such as invoices, production reports, and financial statements from any Web browser.

Panorama has also made significant enhancements to its performance measurement application – Panorama Performance Dashboard. In this latest release, the Company provides more tools to help end users better communicate and collaborate with one another. Completely Web-based, each dashboard is personalized and automates the delivery of critical business information from multiple data sources to any user inside or outside the corporate firewall. The integration of reporting, analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs), in one single interface, makes it easy to move seamlessly from one application to another. Users can even post messages and comments directly inside the dashboard. The solution also supports a variety of user authentication and authorization protocols, including Anonymous Authentication for extranet deployments to partners, suppliers and customers.

Bloor Research which recently published a report on Panorama 4.0 1, reinforces Panorama's commitment to the Microsoft BI platform.

"The bottom line would appear to be that Panorama is offering the sort of features and functionality that you would expect from a generic BI vendor, while combining that with optimization of the Analysis Services and Reporting Services platforms," according to the report. "There are few, if any, other companies that could make such a claim and we expect Panorama to continue to increase its market share as a result."
