Panorama Software Signs Enterprise Agreement with Pilot Travel Centers
Largest Retail Operator of Travel Centers Leverages Business Intelligence Leader for Reporting Needs
TORONTO & KNOXVILLE – May 11, 2005 – Panorama Software, a global leader in business intelligence (BI) solutions for the Microsoft platform, announced today it has signed an enterprise agreement with Pilot Travel Centers, the largest retail operator of travel centers in the U.S. Leveraging Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services, Panorama will provide advanced analytics and enterprise reporting solutions to support Pilot's comprehensive business intelligence needs.
Through Panorama's flagship product – Panorama 4.0 – Pilot Travel Center managers are able to get true exception-based reporting and analysis, eliminating paper-based reporting and increasing the store managers' knowledge of selling patterns. As a result, managers are better equipped to plan their buying strategies and can recognize if they are reaching sales targets and meeting annual budgets.

Pilot will be implementing Panorama 4.0 in a phased approach. Phase one focuses on deli operations in Travel Centers, which includes soda, coffee and hot dog sales. Executing this phase at the 'location' level of the Centers has already delivered impressive and real-time benefits.
