Panorama Software Announces Beta Availability of First Product For Proactive Business Intelligence

Panorama NovaView® Spotlight - the First PBI Product that Enables Information Workers to Focus on the Relevant

Toronto, Ontario – August 13, 2007 – Panorama Software, a global leader in Proactive Business Intelligence (PBI) solutions, today announced availability of the beta version of the first product developed specifically around its recently introduced PBI vision.  Panorama NovaView® Spotlight embeds key metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) into Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Office task pane that acts as a smart personal dashboard. NovaView® Spotlight enables information workers to focus on the relevant insights that impact and drive business decisions and successes, and empowers information workers to take context sensitive structured actions based on these insights, without requiring complex BI tools or expertise.

In this first version, Panorama NovaView® Spotlight is a smart task pane application that works with all Office 2007 applications as well as Office 2003’s Excel, Outlook and Word applications. Its innovative design directly embeds BI into one of these applications, monitoring KPIs and strategic metrics without having to use complex BI tools. In the near future, NovaView® Spotlight will be available as web parts, as well as Google Gadgets and other desktop widget technologies.

Panorama NovaView® Spotlight is currently available in beta, and will be generally available by mid September 2007.
