Panorama NovaView

Panorama NovaView is a comprehensive Proactive Business Intelligence product suite that span BI functionality including analytics, reporting, dashboarding, scorecarding, advanced visualization and modeling.  In addition to traditional BI capabilities, Panorama NovaView offers innovative solutions that help users focus on the relevant, take structured actions and automate the routine by integrating BI with business processes. 

• NovaView Analytics allows quick query and analysis through an easy-to-use interface.  You can quickly find the top 25 or bottom 25 selling products in a sales region, or, with a couple of clicks, compare sales figures this month to monthly goals or budget figures for the same period last year. Alerts and bubble-up exceptions can be distributed automatically to everyone who needs to know who’s falling behind in payments, what product line isn’t selling well, or what’s selling better than expected and needs to be quickly restocked.

• NovaView Smart Reporting helps you design and format boardroom-ready reports with a few clicks. Unlike with other reporting tools, NovaView reports remain fully interactive; you can continue to slice dimensions or change parameters in the formatted report.

• NovaView Dashboards yield a quick view of the health and trend lines of your business, based on a powerful KPI function that you can customize. Adding to their utility is the dashboards' ability to be integrated into commonly used portals, including SharePoint and mySAP Portal.

• NovaView Executive Dashboards is one of the most eye-appealing features of the new NovaView 5.5 release. Users will be able to create dazzling dashboards for the decision-makers in their organization. These dashboards will be highly interactive and will feature a whole new user interface. Users will also have access to many different templates via Panorama’s online community and will be able to share their designs with each other.

• NovaView Visuals, including multiple chart types and visual presentations, let you see powerful images instead of spreadsheets; Advanced Visualization features (advanced chart types such as stacked column, funnel, or spline line) have been developed to work in the dashboards and increase the ways you can illustrate your point.

• NovaView Scorecards provide an at-a-glance view of your business' results and issues and let you drill down from a customized KPI into the underlying data to understand causes and effects.

• NovaView Spotlight is a task pane that appears on the side or top of Office applications and acts as a personal dashboard. Spotlight works directly from Outlook, Excel, and Word in Office 2003, and from all Office 2007 applications. A very powerful search feature enables users to find information contained in any report on their NovaView server and simply drag and drop it into the NovaView Spotlight,  creating a “viewpoint.”

• NovaView GIS integrates existing NovaView products with leading ESRI GIS systems by rendering analytical information from the cube onto a map. The map is also highly interactive and allows the user to perform analytical operations such as drilling down/up, refining results, member selection, drillthrough and much more. The map itself is based on an ESRI GIS engine therefore provides a complete set of standard zooming and navigational features.

• NovaView SDK, the system developer's kit, gives you full access to the Panorama platform to deploy a tailored BI solution quickly.

• NovaView for Microsoft Office extends business intelligence functions into the Office Suite, letting you incorporate enterprise data into Excel projects, Outlook and PowerPoint presentations.

• NovaView Server is scalable to support tens of thousand of users and terabytes of data and provides the MDX analytical engine that manages the queries and information management for the entire NovaView solution. It keeps tight control over data access, reporting and workflow, while integrating seamlessly with SAP BW and SQL Server Analysis Services.  With one installation, the NovaView server supports the entire suite of Panorama BI tools.

• Panorama Pivot Table for Google Docs - Panorama Software has partnered with Google to provide new capabilities to Google applications and Google docs via the strongest suite of analytics, reporting and visualization applications. Whether you want to analyze your Google Spreadsheet data or perform advanced analytics on other data sources, Panorama’s solution for Google Applications makes it all possible througha powerful yet simple solution.

• PowerApps - PowerApps is the first analytical engine of the web (Analytics as a  Service/OLAP 2.0) developed by Panorama Software. PowerApps has been designed to be an extremely efficient OLAP-based system with a focus on automating, managing and creating OLAP cubes on relational data. The product is designed to enable thousands of concurrent users to analyze data that comes from any tabular source. Panorama Analytics for Google Spreadsheets is the first product to use the PowerApps engine.
