Panorama Software is proud to announce the release of Panorama NovaView 6.2, a suite of web-based Business Intelligence (BI) applications that enable relevant, self-service BI on top of any data. NovaView 6.2 adds improvements and new products including:

New Products and Capabilities

NovaView for PowerPivot

NovaView 6.2 is strongly aligned with Microsoft BI strategy and is fully optimized for SQL Server 2008 R2 release. Panorama Software is the first and only BI vendor to connect natively to and extend Microsoft PowerPivot. NovaView 6.2 adds unique selfservice BI capabilities including intuitive web interface, advanced analytics and a unified data level security layer on top of Microsoft’s new inmemory platform. These enhancements elevate PowerPivot into a complete BI solution for the enterprise.

NovaView for Microsoft Office 2010 / SharePoint 2010

NovaView 6.2 for SharePoint NovaView 6.2 integrates seamlessly with Microsoft Office 2010, providing tools and interoperability for both desktop and server components. SharePoint 2010 webparts enable the deployment of interactive NovaView content to the corporate information systems. NovaView for Office and NovaView Spotlight bring live insights directly to the Microsoft Office desktop suite, making mission critical figures closer than ever to the information worker.

Enhanced NovaView Universal Data Connector with more data sources support

The enhanced Universal Data Connector is more scalable and optimized for larger data amounts, offering an innovative sliding filter that makes models dynamic, smaller in size and more efficient. With Oracle connectivity, users can access Oracle relational database data, making it available for instant analysis with the entire NovaView product stack.

New for NovaView 6.0 Users

Improved Analytics

New functionality includes search as you type on any dimension or the entire cube, better handling of the sparse data, improved single line smart totals and new calculation templates. All of this new functionality makes NovaView Analytics more powerful than ever before, keeping NovaView at the top of the webbased analytics products.

Streamlined deployment and upgrade

Simplify NovaView installations and upgrades with an improved set up wizard. The improved setup makes it easier to upgrade from previous versions and significantly shortens the time it takes to get the product up and running.
