Analytics & Visualization for Salesforce.com
Panorama software has partnered with Google and Salesforce.com to provide developers with a powerful way to integrate analytics and reporting into their salesforce.com applications for free!
Following the latest announcement by Salesforce.com on its native support of the Google's Visualization API, Panorama has extended its analytics solution enabling any programmer to integrate, in a few simple steps, dashboards and interactive reports with their salesforce.com application. By simply using the tools made available by Salesforce.com, including code snippets and APIs, and combining it with Panorama’s analytics solution, you can now deliver a set of applications that range from powerful executive dashboards to custom reporting applications over live Salesforce data that can then be published on any webpage.
Getting Started
Try a demo
The following link will take you to a small preconfigured demo of Panorama Analytics on top of SFDC data (opportunity analysis). Feel free to play with it, experience the Panorama Analytics application and share with colleagues.

Build an iGoogle Gadget with Your SFDC Data
This one is an easy task too, but requires some development skills; for more information about the technologies used, please see the links at the bottom of this page.
Connecting your SFDC data to Panorama Analytics:
1. In your SFDC development environment create APEX classes which query some SFDC data and return it in JSON format
2. Create a page (URL) which exposes the output of the above function
3. Make this page available for some logged SFDC user(s) (set correct permissions, etc.)
4. Stay logged in to SFDC in your browser
5. Open iGoogle and add “Panorama Analytics for Online Data” gadget
6. In the data source field paste the URL you prepared on SFDC before, click “Finish” and start exploring your data!
Note: SFDC login sessions expire, so make you sure you are properly logged in to SFDC before running Panorama Analytics.
