The Dimensions Manager pane shows all the available dimensions. For Workboard Slicers, it contains the slicers of all the views in the workboard. For View Slicers, it lists all the dimensions from the view’s data source. Usually, only some of these dimensions are included in the Slicers Pane.
To be able to use a dimension for slicing, it must be included in the Slicers Pane. You can use the Dimensions Manager pane to add dimensions to the Slicers Pane.
Click at the bottom of the Slicers Pane to flip open
the Dimensions Manager pane.
Displaying a section
In the Dimensions Manager, dimensions may be organized hierarchically in several sections. To display only the dimensions under a certain section, click the arrow at the top of the pane and choose a section.
To return to the full list, select All Dimensions.
Searching for a dimension
The search box is used to quickly find dimension members. Start entering the search text.
With each keystroke, the dimensions that contain the entered text dynamically stream in the pane. Each word in the query focuses it further. You can refine your search until you find the correct dimension.
