Using the Discussions Pane

The Discussions  button on the Task Pane toolbar opens the Discussions Pane where you can display the discussions being conducted about the current workboard, and start new discussions.

Display Discussion Messages

Clicking on a discussion tab shows and hides the discussion contents.

You can edit and delete the messages that you have posted in a discussion.

Pointing to a user on the users bar of a discussion shows a thumbnail for that user with the following options:

·          Start a new discussion with the user.

·          Display the user’s shared workboards.

·          Remove the user from the discussion.

Click the arrow on the users bar to see more participants.

Refresh

Use the Refresh  button to see the new posts, updates and changes made by discussion participants (since the discussion is not conducted live).

Add New Discussion

Use the Add New Discussion  button to start a new discussion.

Delete a Discussion

You can delete only discussions that you have started.

To delete a discussion, click the Remove button on the discussion tab.

The Search Box

At the top of the Discussion Pane is a search box for searching discussions in the current workboard, by discussion name. Necto dynamically presents the possible matches as you type in a search term in this box.

To clear the search results, delete the text in the search box.
