Clicking the Scrapbook
button on the Task Pane toolbar opens the
Scrapbook Pane.
This pane is a “provisional storage” area where you can copy views that are of interest to you, and use them later for analysis. For example, you can copy a view from one workboard into the scrapbook and then put it in another workboard.
Another use of the Scrapbook is as a container for Cause & Effect results. When the Cause & Effect results display, the original grid automatically moves to the Scrapbook. From the Scrapbook, you can drag it back to the workboard. Also, you can place the “virtual” grids generated by Cause & Effect into the Scrapbook for later investigation.
The Scrapbook is a user-specific area. This means that views you place in the Scrapbook remain there for you even after you exit the system, and work with the system from different computers. You can retain up to 20 views in your Scrapbook.
You can create a new workboard from views in the Scrapbook.
