Panorama Debuts NovaView SharedViews, Enabling Greater BI Collaboration Through Google Apps

New Enhancement To Panorama NovaView 5.5 MakesReports and Dashboards Available on the Internet Using Google Apps™

TORONTO, ON – (December 2, 2008) – Panorama Software, a global leader in Proactive Business Intelligence solutions, today announced the release of SharedViews, a new enhancement to Panorama’s NovaView Business Intelligence (BI) suite that allows users to share and collaborate on NovaView reports with users inside and outside the firewall via Google Apps.  The new capability not only allows collaboration with users who are unfamiliar or uncomfortable with BI software, but also for the first time ever, enable shared reports to remain fully interactive and dynamic.

For NovaView users, sharing selected reports with internal or external users is as simple as opening any  report and clicking on the application’s new SharedView button.  NovaView rebuilds the report and “pushes it into the cloud” making it available in Google Apps—Google’s online application powered by Panorama’s analytical software engine.  Information workers, whether inside or outside the  firewall, can access the report and underlying data using this uniquely intuitive and collaborative solution. Users can also create dynamic mashup dashboards using iGoogle or Google sites, making dashboards with BI data much more personalized and dynamic.

SharedViews brings yet another level of utility and value to NovaView, Panorama’s highly-regarded BI platform that offers enterprises a complete suite of analytics, reporting, dashboarding, scorecarding, advanced visualization and modeling capabilities.  Now available in Version 5.5, NovaView is available in both on-premises and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering; both options give enterprises a proactive solution that allows them to focus on the relevant, automate the routine, and take structured action.
